Louise Nicholls - Warming Up
We didn’t have a fashion stylist on this day, given that the main purpose was to shoot swimwear. But I’d had my eye on this odd restaurant on the Southbank where the original - and very unglamorous - concrete had been clad entirely in the rough timber of industrial palettes, and then painted in this striking yellow. While waiting for the late afternoon sunlight for the beach material it gave me an opportunity to see if I could make something out of this - and also to discover the considerable make-up talent of Gina King.
